Ingredients

  • 1 block firm tofu
  • 1 cup pineapple chunks
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes

Instructions

  1. Press the tofu to remove excess moisture.
  2. Cut the tofu into cubes and marinate in a mixture of soy sauce, maple syrup, garlic, ginger, and red pepper flakes for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and add the marinated tofu.
  4. Cook until golden brown on all sides.
  5. Add pineapple chunks and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
  6. Serve hot over rice or noodles.

Notes

  • For added flavor, let the tofu marinate overnight.
  • Top with green onions for an extra crunch.
