  • 4 large bell peppers
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup cooked rice
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cut the tops off the bell peppers and remove the seeds.
  3. In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat.
  4. Stir in the cooked rice, diced tomatoes, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  5. Stuff each bell pepper with the meat mixture.
  6. Place the stuffed peppers in a baking dish and pour a little water into the bottom.
  7. Cover with foil and bake for 25-30 minutes.
  8. Remove the foil, top with shredded cheese, and bake for an additional 10 minutes.
  9. Serve warm.
