- 4 large bell peppers
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 cup cooked rice
- 1 can diced tomatoes
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 cup shredded cheese
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cut the tops off the bell peppers and remove the seeds.
- In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat.
- Stir in the cooked rice, diced tomatoes, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Stuff each bell pepper with the meat mixture.
- Place the stuffed peppers in a baking dish and pour a little water into the bottom.
- Cover with foil and bake for 25-30 minutes.
- Remove the foil, top with shredded cheese, and bake for an additional 10 minutes.
- Serve warm.
