Strawberry Cheesecake Cinnabon Rolls

A delightful combination of strawberry and cheesecake flavors wrapped in soft, gooey cinnamon rolls.

  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon active dry yeast
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup warm milk
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup additional powdered sugar for icing

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, yeast, and salt.
  3. Mix in warm milk, melted butter, egg, and vanilla until smooth.
  4. Knead the dough for about 5 minutes, then let it rise for 1 hour.
  5. Roll out the dough into a rectangle and spread cream cheese over it.
  6. Sprinkle chopped strawberries, cinnamon, and brown sugar over the cream cheese.
  7. Roll the dough tightly and cut into rolls.
  8. Place rolls in a greased baking dish and let rise for 30 minutes.
  9. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
  10. Let cool slightly, then drizzle with icing made of powdered sugar and water.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, use full-fat cream cheese.
  • Feel free to add more strawberries for extra sweetness.
