Sticky Honey Gochujang Chicken (Air Fried or Baked)

A deliciously sticky and spicy chicken dish featuring the bold flavors of gochujang and honey, perfect for air frying or baking.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound chicken thighs
  • 1/4 cup gochujang
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine gochujang, honey, soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, and rice vinegar to create the marinade.
  2. Add chicken thighs to the marinade and let sit for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) or the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  4. Arrange the marinated chicken in the air fryer basket or on a baking sheet.
  5. Cook in the air fryer for 20-25 minutes or in the oven for 25-30 minutes until fully cooked.
  6. Check internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C). Serve hot.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, marinate the chicken overnight.
  • Serve with steamed rice and vegetables for a complete meal.
