Slow Cooker Steak and Cheddar Potato Casserole

A delicious and easy comfort food recipe that combines steak, cheddar cheese, and potatoes in a slow cooker.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound steak, cut into cubes
  • 4 cups potatoes, sliced
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup onion, chopped
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper

Instructions

  1. Layer the sliced potatoes in the bottom of the slow cooker.
  2. Add the cubed steak on top of the potatoes.
  3. Sprinkle chopped onions and garlic powder over the steak.
  4. In a bowl, mix cream of mushroom soup with salt and pepper, then pour over the ingredients in the slow cooker.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or until the steak and potatoes are tender.
  6. In the last 30 minutes, sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top and allow to melt.
