  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
  • 1 egg
  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 cup onion, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix the ground beef, breadcrumbs, onion, egg, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until well combined. Form into meatballs.
  2. Place the meatballs in the bottom of the slow cooker.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix the beef broth with mushrooms and onions, then pour over the meatballs.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
  5. Before serving, mix cornstarch with a little water to form a slurry, and then stir it into the sauce to thicken it.
