- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
- 1 egg
- 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
- 1 cup onion, sliced
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- In a bowl, mix the ground beef, breadcrumbs, onion, egg, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until well combined. Form into meatballs.
- Place the meatballs in the bottom of the slow cooker.
- In a separate bowl, mix the beef broth with mushrooms and onions, then pour over the meatballs.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
- Before serving, mix cornstarch with a little water to form a slurry, and then stir it into the sauce to thicken it.
