- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup pumpkin puree
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, combine flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Mix well.
- In another bowl, cream together butter and powdered sugar until smooth.
- Add in the dry mixture and combine until a dough forms.
- Press the dough into the bottom and sides of a tart pan.
- Bake for 15 minutes, then let it cool.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together pumpkin puree, eggs, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, cinnamon, nutmeg, and ginger.
- Pour the pumpkin mixture into the cooled tart shell.
- Sprinkle dark chocolate chips on top and bake for an additional 30 minutes.
