Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, beat together the softened butter and powdered sugar until creamy.
  3. Mix in the peppermint and vanilla extracts.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cornstarch, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until combined.
  6. Fold in the crushed peppermint candies.
  7. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes, until the edges are lightly golden.
  9. Allow to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
