Mozzarella Stuffed Crockpot Meatloaf

A delicious and easy recipe for a mozzarella stuffed meatloaf cooked in a crockpot, featuring turkey and bacon.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 4 slices turkey bacon, chopped
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup marinara sauce

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, chopped turkey bacon, bread crumbs, egg, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  2. Take a portion of the meat mixture and flatten it in your hand.
  3. Add a tablespoon of shredded mozzarella in the center, then encase the cheese with the meat mixture, forming a ball.
  4. Repeat until all meat and cheese are used.
  5. Place meatballs in the crockpot and pour marinara sauce over them.
  6. Cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until meat is cooked through.

Notes

  • Serve with additional marinara sauce for dipping.
  • For extra flavor, add chopped onions and garlic to the meat mixture.
