A delicious and healthy recipe that combines broccoli and turkey bacon in a light pasta dish.

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces whole wheat pasta
  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a skillet, cook turkey bacon until crisp. Remove and crumble.
  3. In the same skillet, add olive oil, garlic, and red pepper flakes. Sauté for 1 minute.
  4. Add broccoli and sauté until tender, about 5 minutes.
  5. Add the cooked pasta and crumbled turkey bacon to the skillet. Toss to combine.
  6. Season with salt and black pepper. Serve topped with Parmesan cheese.
