Korean BBQ Meatballs

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 4 slices turkey bacon, chopped
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
  • 1 tablespoon garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1/4 cup BBQ sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine turkey, turkey bacon, breadcrumbs, green onions, egg, soy sauce, ginger, garlic, and sesame oil.
  3. Mix until well combined.
  4. Form into meatballs, about 1 inch in size, and place on a baking sheet.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes until cooked through.
  6. Brush BBQ sauce on meatballs and bake for an additional 5 minutes.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, let the meatball mixture sit for 30 minutes before baking.
