  • 1 cup strawberries, sliced
  • 1 cup whipped cream
  • 2 cups sushi rice
  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 1 package nori sheets
  • 1/2 cup strawberry syrup

Instructions

  1. Rinse the sushi rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
  2. Combine the rice and water in a pot and bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 20 minutes.
  3. In a small bowl, mix the sugar and rice vinegar, then stir into the cooked rice. Allow to cool.
  4. Place a nori sheet on a bamboo mat, spread a layer of rice, then layer with strawberries and whipped cream.
  5. Roll up the nori tightly, then slice into bite-sized pieces.
  6. Drizzle with strawberry syrup before serving.
