High Protein Creamy Taco Soup

A delicious and hearty taco soup packed with protein from turkey bacon and chicken ham.

Ingredients

  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 1 pound chicken ham
  • 1 can black beans
  • 1 can corn
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, cook turkey bacon until crisp. Remove and crumble.
  2. Add chicken ham and cook until heated through.
  3. Stir in black beans, corn, taco seasoning, and chicken broth.
  4. Bring to a boil and then reduce heat. Simmer for 15 minutes.
  5. Stir in heavy cream and diced tomatoes. Cook for another 5 minutes.
  6. Serve hot, topped with crumbled bacon.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add jalapeños.
  • Adjust thickness by adding more or less chicken broth.
