  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease and flour a bundt pan.
  3. In a bowl, cream the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  5. Mix in the vanilla extract and sour cream until combined.
  6. In another bowl, combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt.
  7. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  8. Pour the batter into the prepared bundt pan and smooth the top.
  9. Bake for 50-55 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  10. Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes before inverting onto a wire rack.
  11. Once cool, dust with powdered sugar and serve.

Notes

  • For an extra kick, add some nutmeg to the batter.
  • Can be stored for up to 3 days at room temperature.
