- 1 pound chicken breasts
- 1 package cheese tortellini
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup chopped carrots
- 1 cup chopped celery
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
- Place chicken breasts at the bottom of the CrockPot.
- Add in chicken broth, carrots, celery, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Stir well.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
- 30 minutes before serving, remove the chicken and shred it. Return shredded chicken to the pot.
- Add tortellini and cream; stir to combine.
- Cook for an additional 30 minutes on high until tortellini is tender.
- Stir in parmesan cheese before serving.
Notes
- This dish can be topped with fresh parsley for added flavor.
