Crockpot Cheeseburger Soup

A delicious and easy Crockpot cheeseburger soup featuring turkey bacon for a healthier twist. Perfect for chilly days!

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 2 cups diced potatoes
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • 4 cups beef broth
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup milk
  • Salt and Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a skillet, cook the turkey bacon until crispy. Remove and chop into pieces.
  2. In the same skillet, brown the ground turkey. Drain excess fat.
  3. Add cooked turkey bacon and turkey to the slow cooker along with remaining ingredients excluding cheese and milk.
  4. Cook on low for 6 hours or high for 3 hours.
  5. Stir in cheese and milk. Cook an additional 30 minutes until cheese is melted.
  6. Season with salt and pepper before serving.

Notes

  • You can substitute ground beef if preferred.
  • For a thicker soup, add a cornstarch slurry at the end.
