  • 2 pounds chicken thighs
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon ground paprika
  • 1 teaspoon ground turmeric
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1/4 cup tahini
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix garlic, olive oil, lemon juice, cumin, paprika, turmeric, salt, and pepper.
  2. Add chicken thighs and marinate for at least 1 hour.
  3. Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
  4. Cook chicken on the grill for about 6-7 minutes on each side or until done.
  5. For the garlic sauce, combine yogurt, tahini, water, and parsley in a bowl.
  6. Serve the grilled chicken with the garlic sauce and warm pita bread.

Notes

  • Best served with fresh vegetables and pita bread.
  • For spicier sauce, add a pinch of cayenne pepper.
