- 2 slices whole grain bread
- 1/2 cup cooked chicken, shredded
- 1/2 ripe avocado, sliced
- 2 slices turkey bacon, cooked
- 1/4 cup shredded cheese
- 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon mustard
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Preheat a skillet over medium heat.
- Spread mayonnaise and mustard on one side of each slice of bread.
- Layer cooked chicken, sliced avocado, turkey bacon, and shredded cheese on unspread side of one bread slice.
- Top with the other slice of bread, spread side up.
- Place sandwich in the skillet and cook until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.
- Remove from skillet, slice, and serve hot.
