  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 packet instant yeast
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine warm water and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes.
  2. Add flour, cheeses, garlic powder, and salt to the yeast mixture. Stir until a dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10 minutes.
  4. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 hour.
  5. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  6. Roll the dough into a triangle shape and cut into smaller triangles for the branches of the tree.
  7. Arrange the triangles in the shape of a Christmas tree on a baking sheet.
  8. Brush with olive oil and sprinkle with additional cheese.
  9. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
