  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes until foamy.
  2. Add melted butter, salt, and eggs, and mix well.
  3. Gradually add flour until dough forms and knead until smooth.
  4. Let the dough rise in a warm place for 1 hour.
  5. Roll out the dough, spread melted butter, then sprinkle cinnamon and brown sugar.
  6. Roll tightly and cut into slices.
  7. Place the slices in a greased baking dish and let rise for another 30 minutes.
  8. Bake at 350°F for 25-30 minutes.
  9. Mix cream cheese with powdered sugar for frosting and drizzle over warm rolls.
